IoT ermöglicht die Überwachung des Fernversorgungssnetzes

The EchoShore® TX platform, which the Nevada Center for Excellence calls "the first installation of its kind in the country", is a combination of innovative technology concepts, sensor-based data acquisition and the "Internet of Things" (IoT) network technology of the next Generation include. The EchoShore-TX platform is a combination of environmental monitoring, system automation and infrastructure management. It leverages the IoT connectivity of "smart" sensors and devices using advanced internet connected wireless technologies to remotely monitor and manage a large leak detection system .

In collaboration with IBM and AT&T, Echologics and the EchoShore-TX technology in Las Vegas are part of the Global City Teams Challenge, a program sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technologies (NIST) that uses new technologies to create "Smart Cities" of IoT connectivity and network technologies promotes and presents. The Las Vegas installation includes AT&T wireless connectivity to collect, transmit and manage data from EchoShore TX monitoring nodes, as well as software developed by IBM that provides a water management system with analysis, visualization and reporting functions.

The leak detection platform monitors a non-redundant pipe that runs in the middle of the famous Las Vegas Strip. Installed in the 1960s, the DN 750 water pipe delivers up to 28,000 m3 of water per day to the world's largest hotels, casinos and resorts, which host 40 million visitors every year.
