This course is designed to provide you with the knowledge of water leak detection practices and correlation methods. Students will be instructed in the basics and background theory of leak detection to better utilize advanced correlation techniques. Participants will learn various methods available to identify and find leaks in locations of unaccounted for water loss in water systems. A variety of equipment will be demonstrated and used to aid students in accurately pinpointing leaks in all types of pipe materials.

Who should attend
Water works operators and maintenance personnel, utilities staff and supervisors.

Training method
On-site classroom sessions in a highly interactive environment supported with computer work to simulate field scenarios. Fieldwork sessions afterwards put the concepts learned in a more practical, hands-on situation.
