If you think that all listening devices are created equal, you need to compare the performance of this device to your existing unit. The LeakListener is the product of several decades of experience in acoustics and audio electronics design.

Our engineers took a fresh look at an old technology. Testing showed most existing listeners had poor audio quality, a high noise floor, and were expensive for the given performance. We have incorporated high sensitivity and low noise audio components with an in depth knowledge of the frequency spectra of leak sounds. The resulting design is in keeping with our philosophy of simple yet sophisticated. We have produced a durable, high quality design that has been value engineered for low cost and high performance.

The Leaklistener is available in two models, Leaklistener basic one with an integral high sensitivity accelerometer for the most compact tool available, and Leaklistener GM with a connector for a remote sensor on a cable, and an available ground microphone. Leaklistener GM may be used with any of the sensors supplied with our LeakfinderRT correlator, which means that the user need not purchase an extra sensor for their acoustic sounding equipment. This economical solution for smaller utilities just starting in leak detection that require a correlator and acoustic sounding device.
