Water Leak Detection Course
When a correlator is purchased, the training is geared mainly to the operation of the equipment. Our course is designed to provide participants with the background and advanced theory of leak detection that is applicable to any correlator. In addition, the understanding of issues encountered in the field will enable participants to have greater success finding leaks. Students will gain knowledge regarding the causes and impact of leaks, system assessment and pipe leakage evaluation. They will also learn various methods available to identify and find leaks in locations of unaccounted water loss.
During this two-day course, the morning sessions are spent in the classroom acquiring the knowledge and skills that will be applied to fieldwork in the afternoon.

Leak Detection Listening Course
This one-day course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and advanced skills to listen and find leaks in a water distribution system. The focus on listening skills will give students a better understanding of leak sounds from different types and sizes of pipes. The goal is to improve the participant’s success of finding leaks while out in the field.
The morning session is spent in the classroom acquiring the knowledge and skills to be applied to the fieldwork in the afternoon.

Fundamentals of Leak Detection
This course is designed to provide participants with a well-rounded knowledge of leak detection, including the causes and implications of leakage in a water distribution system. Various equipment and methods will be discussed to aid students in pinpointing leaks in locations of unaccounted for water loss.
Participants will have a better understanding of what leak noise sounds like by learning about the frequency of leaks in different types and sizes of water mains. Students will also learn how to find leaks using a correlator and deal with field issues that arise. Skills and techniques learned in the classroom will be applied during the fieldwork portion of the course.
